The New York Giants OT Nate Solder is in the process of ankle

Without a key member of the offensive line, the New York Giants will go the rest of the offseason workout programme.

After dealing with bone spurs, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo recently underwent arthroscopic surgery to clean their ankle.

Rapoport further reports that the procedure is not considered major and Solder projects are to be ready by the training camp at the end of July or the beginning of August.

Among other things, with Chad Wheeler and Brian Mihalik, the Giants have options at the left tackle position to get through organized team activities and the compulsory mini-camp in mid-June before reporting for training camp.

Though, any setback suffered by Solder would not be an ideal situation for an offensive line from Giants that contributed to 47 sacks in 2018 allowed Eli Manning to quarterback.
